Danubiana Meulensteen Art Museum is located in Hamuliakovo, a mere 15 km from Bratislava capital city of Slovakia. It’s not found in many tourist guides, but it’s a place you want to visit, especially if you like modern art. Personally I’m not much of an art guy, but I love modern art, and especially abstract art. I don’t get it,but probably that’s why I loved so much to visit Danubiana Meulensteen Art Museum.
The day we arrived at Danubiana Art Museum was a particularly nice day, sunny, with no cloud on the sky, so we could admire the masterpieces of Sam Francis, an internationally recognized abstract artist. By the time you get to Danubiana probably the main artist would change, but you can always buy a book from the library found inside this museum. I got as a gift a book with modern Beach Houses. Needless to say it made me dream of a house near a lake or ocean, but probably I have to wait a few more years to get this dream come true.

Anyway, here are a few pictures we took at Danubiana Meulensteen Art Museum, just before the coffee break at the local terrace by the sea.
Interesting main picture; I admit I clicked through just to see if that was an island. Never cared for abstract art, though; I like my art to look like something!
